Position
The Sales and BD Lead role is responsible for leading and managing all company sales and business development efforts, including:
- Forecasting and managing revenue projections
- Managing and reporting on weekly sales forecast performance and funnel activity
- Driving medical condition sponsorships and partner micro-site sales
- Defining and deploying new advertising or sponsor-driven revenue streams
- Coordinating efforts for a team of 3 sales and BD professionals and numerous external sales agents
- Presentation and collateral development
- Providing customer/partner feedback to product development team
Requirements
- At least 7 years prior experience with online sponsorship and/or digital media sales
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including providers and advertisers
- Excellent relationships with prospective sponsors and partners at agencies, brands, and healthcare providers
- Exceptional presentation and written/verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Must be a unique combination of a self-starter, leader and hands-on contributor
